what is the track surface like that your racing on Adam? You guys have been talking up this reversed diff. fluid on clay tracks and I'm just curious if that is what your racing on now or if its a bit more loamy. I would think it would push with more dirt and less traction? |

John, I've ran it on grooved tracks and soft clay tracks. All I can say is try it, it won't do what you think it will ![]() ![]() Fro, I'm going to try and get up there in a couple weeks to try out some different things. I'll def. give that 3-5-7 a try. IMaxx, thanks man ![]() ![]() -Adam |

So anybody have any idea on why it would work better? Do all the theories on diffs need to just be thrown out the window? |

The way I look at it is like this: Lighter oil in the front is going to cause the front to "unload" faster and pull the car out of a corner. The heavier rear oil doesn't "unload" as fast and prevents the inner wheel from spinning as much, thus giving you added rear traction. I have read so many different theories on diffs and what this and that will do, but it's different for everyone. Give it a try, you'll be pleased. -Adam |

Tested the buggy out today with 3-3-5 and it was great! It did pretty much exactly what you guys said it would. I had a little bit of push on-power exiting corners but it was still pretty fast. I could come into corners much hotter and hold the speed. I ended up going to 3-3-4 and it feels excellent. The push is virtually non-existant and it feels much better. 3-5-3 was nice but more more twitchy and sensitive than this set up. |
