How far should the flywheel fit on the collet to be acceptable? I just rebuilt my RB S5 and put a new flywheel and clutch (all stock xray parts) and with the three washers, the collet and then the flywheel tightened I fall within the 11.0 - 11.2 spec. I take it the flywheel doesn't need the collet completely in it to be proper. Is this correct? Just want to make sure as I didn't check when I took off the mugen clutch setup that was on the engine previously. Thanks. |

If i am understanding you properly in that the collet does not have to be 100% all the way through the flywheel then yes, you are correct. Usually it only fits about 75% through the flywheel. |
