I received a bad shock body in my kit.
Whats the best way to obtain a replacement?
I have cleaned it up as much as possible but the groove is still not smooth. I was able to assemble the shock and position the G-clip opening so it avoids the bad spot. My concern is that the G-clip does rotate a small amount during use and the bad spot in the groove can possibly cause the G-clip to de-rail. The last thing any of us need is to have a shock come apart during a race.
Here is a pic.
