What a fantastic bashing buggy!! I went with 6s and get around a 30 minutes run time 5200mAh, 15T pinion, 47T spur, 1550kv motor and 60% throttle end point (close to 50mph). I thought I would be fabricating a handful of various parts to increase reliability and performance. That was not the case, however I did find one area that did need improvement. It is the rear shock tower brace. It is a vital part if you do a lot of jumps. The problem is that it is composite where is connects at the tower sub-structure and the tray The material suffers from repeated impacts and gets loose where the screws hold it in place. After a couple of hour of jumping I grabbed the buggy by the front and rear shock towers and moved them in an out. The rear one had about a half to one mm of play that could not be adjusted or tightened out. I could feel the rear tower 'notching' back and forth. I made a replacement out of 7075 Al and kept tolerances extremely tight. Now it is rock solid and completely rigid.
