Rugge, I'm not sure what the factory settings are. However if the motors brand new and you haven’t changed the settings yet, don't hesitate to fire that bad boy up! My personal preference is to idle 2-4 tanks with the car on the starter box @ 180-200 degrees. This is achieved by adjusting the bottom end needle. I don't actually touch the high end needle until I start running the car on the ground. After about 1-2 tanks of taking it easy I start pushing the car harder and harder, then after about 4 tanks.....its time to rip on it. My rule of thumb is try and keep it under 205 degrees during the break in period. I’m sure you'll here a million other ways to do this and how each way is better then the other, however this is how I do it. Doy |
