Mulitple Questions about XB8

Hey guys, I just recived my XB8, goin to build it soon.

here are the questions:
Im thinking about the soft arms, but im told that they need to be replaced after a few gallons...true? or how much time?

Im trying to decide Eather the motor mount, or the rear alu hubs, give me you thought of which 1s to get. i wana make the buggy for reliable.

I've raced my XB8 for 2 gallons now. I've ran it very hard. Nothing has broken. This buggy is so, so durable. At my local track, "Sun Valley" Raceway there are only 2 Xrays. We always finish.

Mains range from 15-20 minutes. On such a fast track like Sun Valley I couldnt be any happier. The quality of plastic on this car is far superior than any other car out there. With the money you are spending on those hop ups, you could be buying shock shafts, rebuild kits, xray shoes, springs, man the list goes on and on. Up to you, but you have one of the toughest cars if not the toughest 8th scale in your hands. If your driving is not at par, then think of those hop ups. If you are smooth, dont sweat it. Call it good.

go with the alum rear hubs!
Soft arms are good too youll be happy with them

I am with Nate get the rear hubs 1st.
We have over 12 gallons on our 1st set of soft arms on Derek's car with no issues.

motormount is very nice and usefull
it will protect your main gear and center mounts as a flex can occure in the middle of the chassis
alu front torquerod is ok to, as the stock one can shoot of the ball link on a heavy landing or impact,
you can better ride without or with a shortened rear torquerod than change the front, to counter that flex in the middle
alu steering blocks are next: they give a bit shorter steering radius and are strong
rear alu blocks is for last hop up, as you will be able to use it properly then

Once again:

Whats wrong with stock steering blocks? Very strong stuff indeed. And if you need to decrease turning radius: take out your Dremel.

I wouldn't be willing to spend that amount of money without a reason. And also not to suggest it as a "must have" hopup.

Stock plastics are cheap, they can take alot of asskicking!
