XB8e motor question

I am building the 2018 version of the XB8e and planning to use Tekin RX8 GEN3 esc/Redline T8 GEN2 motor combo- my question, should I get the buggy motor in 1900kv or the truggy motor in 2000 kv? The truggy version is 8mm longer, and weighs 50g more- is it worth it for more torque and the 1000kv? Or should I fight for every gram I can save on the build? Pretty new to this, appreciate any input based on experience in this...

Followup- anything wrong with using a 2200kv motor for racing? Saw a great deal online...

2200kv is alot of power for a buggy. I would only use that on the biggest of tracks. 1900 is perfect for me. I dont have to down it way down in the ESC to control it.

Well, truggy motor in 2000 kv is better.
It weighs 50g more, but it is worth it.

I thought I would add that the reason I went with the lower 1550 kv truggy motor, then what you commonly see, is because it is on 6s power. It runs 40 - 50 mph for around 30 minutes (with 15T pinion).

Get the Truggy. Weight doesn't even come into play in that set-up. In fact, just discount weight completely. It's not a factor.
