XRAY - Model racing cars

Thanks Jesse. I broke the engine in with about 8 tanks of fuel. Even during its first race at about 1/4gallon it was just a little bit on the weak side. I am not exactly sure how the engine got over 300*. every time I checked it it was never over 240. And when the rod actually broke the engine was just getting warmed up(it was not even at 190 yet) This engine was never overreved before also. Heck it was never really lean enough to do that anyway. So how all of this happend beats me.

I am going to just idle for 1/2, then put it on the ground and continue with the break in. This time I am going to run about 3/4 gallon on it before it hits the track. I can't affored another $400 engine.
