 Post subject: Stripping Screws - what am i doing wrong?

Question:

Anyone else, besides me, having a problem with the 2.0mm screws
stripping?

I am scared to remove a screw! almost everytime i do one strips...
using the XRAY screws and the HUDY tool that came with the car. The
2.5mm are perfect.

3 of the 4 screws that hold the fron shock tower on are now stripped.
The screw that holds the front chassis brace on from the bottom is
stripped and a few others :(

Am i tightening them to much or what?

yes and no. you wanna loctite any metal to metal and not overtighten them but ive found that 1.5 and 2.0 mm screws strip easily anyway. just dremel a slot in em and bring em out.
