The XB8 was my first 1/8 I haven't quite got it tuned to the track but before I ran the car I went with the soft arms the motor mount and the front brace. last race side by side comparison next to a prospec the xb8 was alot stiffer I love the car and haven't had any problem with the cf I still set my gear mesh a bit on the lose side but there haven't been any problems. I like the mesh a bit on the loser side anyway helps prevent wear on the clutch bell bearings. |

no hop ups are needed-"All Hop-ups Included" lol really all that is needed is the motor mount and front brace-beyond that the hop ups help but are more for looks. |

Use Search for the 3D Steering plate and you should get David's report on using the 3D Steering Plate. Aaron, David - maybe worth to add to the FAQ to explain more in detail how the 3D Steering plate changes/improves the handling of the car. We can update the product specs and features appropriately to feature all neccessary information. |

Ownage sorry took so long to respond but I have been away for a few... I have a bit invested in upgrade parts but I feel they are worth every penny. lhs will match internet prices so the parts I don't recall exactly but something like this engine mount 60.00 alu front brace 30.00 alu 3d steering 20.00 soft arms 4 22.00 Alu Steering Block 35.00 ea Alu Upper Arm Holder 25.00 so a total of about 230.00 plus the kit keep in mind not all of the parts are required I got mostly for the bling factor ![]() |

When you guys are talking about that front brace, do you mean this item?: I guess thats a essential hopup for the XB8R buggy aswell. |

Not. I have alu F/R rod F plastic F/R And I'm running plastic both F / R it gives more flex and makes the car more forgiving. Also the tracks around here can get quite bumpy so chassisflex makes the car handle better. |
