Hello guys can somebody give me tips?? After i run my xray and clean it, is it okay if i spray wd 40 to the bearing and to the pivot balls inside the steering block?? Cause wd40 its not good for plastic, and can i spray pen ray to the bearing before And after wash my car?? And can i use chain lube for regrease my ball bearings?? |

My team mates have an addiction for wd40, and it hasn't hurt anything. Seems good for hosing out the pivot balls. I use silicone spray for the balls. It dries and doesn't attract dirt. To lube my bearings I remove them and remove their shields and pack them with grease by hand. If I don't have much time, I wipe them clean, toss them in another racers pitbox, and install new ones. Bearings are only $1 afterall. Generally, well greased bearings survive a few washings. I wash my car in a sink. Another racer has an extra dishwasher setup just for RC. |
