XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi guys, I've got a few questions about two of the optional parts available for the xb8 and was wondering if anyone had any advice about them?

The first is what effect do the carbon/graphite arm stiffeners have on the car?

Secondly, what effect does putting the carbon shock towers onto the car have?

And finally, is it still possible to get these parts for the 2015 spec car anywhere in the UK?
