Hello all, I have been reading the HUDY setup guide for my XB9 and I am struggling to find an answer to this question: What is the difference between Traction & Grip..? In some places in the setup guide it references Traction; "Doing XYZ will improve on power traction", and in other areas of the guide it says; "Doing ABC will improve Grip", for example the shock damping section... I have done some research and I found some info from an F1 website regarding 'The Traction Circle' which is basically a way of representing lateral and longitudinal grip as vectors allowing you to find out how much total grip you have in any particular direction IE when cornering the car is gripping sideways and forward... cheers |
