I have also ZX 21 Race and I'm having that kind of problems, it work fine about 5 minutes and then it keeps stalling on idle or on the track when I slow down or when I hit the brakes. After two ruined races and ripping of my hair I opened hole engine and I found piece of rubber under the main needle, it was quite big and it dosent fit through fuel line nipple, all o-rings was on good condition and also bearings and all other stuff. I havent tryet it yet after cleaning and checking, so let's see if this is the reason for the problems. I'm using Sirio 7 Cold glow plug also tried Novarossi 4 and 5, and yes I have checked clutch, brakes and all other stuff which may stop engine... Still having hope for this great engine, it has great bottom and top-end (IMO). Picture of the rubber piece... |

florianlaux: How long your full filled tank lasts when you have it on "lean" settings? |

I have been using the original MEGA normal plugs (#5 and #6) and RunnerTime fuel... didn't even stopped once. It has great bottom torque and it is easy to find the right carb settings without running it sooo hot. I would try using original plugs and good quality fuel first if I were in your shoes. ![]() |
