XB8 has some of the best brakes. The brake disks are made from a special steel and are very precisely finished and individually grinded to the highest possible perfection within the tightest possible manufacturing tolerances. We will make a tech article to explain how to adjust the brakes if you want to have a different "brake feeling". Shortly and basically you can use longer or softer silicone tubing installed on the brake bias (front and rear separately) to change the brake feeling. Do not exchange the Xray brake disks for anything else because you would just degrade the brakes. What we suggest is to get the hardened brake pads The ferodo material that is being glued on the brake pads is some of the best available and highly recommended to use. |
