Just looking over an XB8R kit and the qualitly is second to none. Just as expected from an Xray kit. Besides all the kit bags smelling potently of oil, the CVD's are a work of art. All the parts look of Super high quality. And the soft arms, new chassis and new shock shims are a bonus, also the composite braces. Just from a 5 minute overview I realized one thing that puzzled me ![]() The Spur gear included in the kit is 44 TOOTH ![]() |

Forgot to mention. It also has a 14 tooth clutch bell ![]() Does anyone have one built and has driven it already ? If so how is it ? Gearing wise ? Tourquey or fast ? ? |

Well that is a market first then. A buggy that is designed to outrun others on the straight. Thing is though that this combo is one I would choose. Not as agressive off the line as the 46/13 or 46/15, but then you'd loose the punch out the bends, on a tight track this would make your mill work harder. Though on an open track, you should be making time on each lap. |

It's not a first. The Hot Bodies Lightning Pro came with that gearing too and I didn't like it at all on in the infield and on quick jumps. |
