Please excuse my English. I've got a question about the XB8'14 setup. The car is at the standard setup at the moment, but the steering is a way to aggressive for my driving style but the rear end is always stable. Had anybody an idea what I can change that the car isn't so aggressive and have the same or better more rear traction? Thanks for your answers |

your post is interesting, because everyone i know want to have more steering. And for sure the xb8 has much more then the xb9. I suggest to test the following to reduce the steering: use thicker oil within the front diff e.g. 7000 instead of 5000 use harder springs on the front upper shock position more inside more rear toe longer upper rear link Ackermann position 3 Servo Saver softer longer wheelbase All off this settings should reduce the steering. Some off them on off power and some on on power contitions. So pls. test only once a time and not all together ![]() I am sure you will find one, that will fulfill your needs. More infos you will find within the HUDY Off-road Set-up Book.... hope i was able to help ![]() |
