I just want to know if it is possible to take the complete new xb8 front pivot ball suspension and put it on an xb9e!? |

The new pivot ball front end will not be compatible with the XB9E chassis plate. The new chassis has a different kickup angle, and the mounting location for the steering bell-cranks is also different. It would require all of the front end pieces, steering pieces, chassis, and side guards. There may be some other pieces as well. - Bryan |

the front shock tower, and eccentric bushings.. and the rear block behind the front tower.. all different.. not sure why you would want to change all of that.. instead of just get a new car.. |

have the 47t and 48t spur gears been redesinged for the xb8 as options as the gear ratio is higher and i prefer a slightley lower ratio .tryed to fit these on xb9 but the 47t was discontinued and the 48t did not fit and was around 6/8 grams heavier than the 46t so defeating the point of a change .or is the listing of the 47t and 48t spurs as an option in the xb9 and new xb8 promo a mistake? |

Why did the 48 not fit? Was it too low? You could raise the middle diff holder by a few mm with some shims. |

The #355048 - 48T and also #355049 - 47T center spur gears are standard available and were not discountinued. The 48T spur gears must be used with Center Diff Shimming Plates (#354032) because of larger diameter. |
