Running less inboard and more outboard toe in will should be better in bumps, drive smoother/more of arc and connect turns better(not as square), rear will lean and hold onto a set better, doesn't drive/steer off the front end as much. If you were to space the hub out wider I think just making the rear wider can make car looser mid to exit in turns, but you would also be lengthening the arm and link length, then also moving the dogbone out of the diff, moving pivot in bone out more, all of which have their own handling thing going on. The longer arm/link should make car more stable overall, may feel like you need to stiffen shocks up a little in oil/pack, then I don't think the dogbone changes will make your car handle worse. |

Hi, This question is for one of the pros or Mario who has more information on the new rear hubs. Yah know how the bearing inserts into the bushing then slides in the hub. Well I notice that there is a shield on one side of the bushing. I unerstand we insert the bearing into the bushing and push it against the sheild. But my question is what side does the sheild go on? Does it go to the outside of the hub or do I insert the sheild into the inner part of the Hub? I know it sounds confusing and you have to have the new hubs in front of you to understand what I'm saying, but I need this help. Thanks. Mike |
