XRAY - Model racing cars

as the competition on the 1/8 scale Buggys gets harder (Caster racing, HRP Distribution, ... and others) are about to bring out a new Buggy- this means the market for Buggies must be very lucrative (growing). The advantage lies at the customer: ther tougher the market on competition is, the lower the prices, the more innovation and the more quality, ...

i wonder wheter the ambitious goal of xray will be reached to be the BEST Buggy, with the best support, ...
Go on XRAY (Mario) as competition gets tougher - now you only have to start winning international competitions, and the market is yours.

yea that is the whole trick. problem is the best buggy alone won't win at that leval. need the best driver also. Oh and good luck helps.

It would be fun to have a spec buggy class. maybe sponcered by xray? where all the drivers have the same "hand out" car. like the IROC of RC.

I'm in for that slim...I go to as many races as I can and can afford. Usually do pretty well, but I have yet to look for sponsors. Would be great to have even a partial sponsorship!

ttr did the with the S3... and wow did it work! while the big names carry alot of weight, its the local hot shoes that you always see. every weekend they are there kicking but, making "us" wanting to buy them. hell i almost bought a ttr because of it.

does rc america do any regional sponsors?

I know Xray has some regional 50% drivers. The nice thing about the Xray deal is they only allow a select few in each area as not to overflow any area and not letting just anybody be a team member. Regional drivers are a great thing and really do help sales in my opinion but it needs to be closely monitored and keep them to a minimum and quality people as well as drivers.

we got no chance over here (n.ireland) but even to see a sponsered event by a manufacture would be something .our club in its 2nd year has nearly 60 members and growing at a nice rate and attracting a lot of intrest from the public .
