Derek has been running the Max Power modified 5 port the last few weeks with great results. He said it has awsome power but yet it super smooth. It is now by far his favorite motor he has ever run. Very good fuel milage as well.

Yes I used to run the 8 port mod and what a motor....runs very cool and fast as ever. now I have the 5 port and man is that thing poweful, but like you said very smooth and they run very cool temps...nice engines |

Appears machine to me, nothing wrong with that at all. I think he does all the designing of the build, he does do a lot of different stuff that works very well. |

Oh of course theres nothing wrong with it at all. Its even better as all the mods are identical from engine to engine. All the JP Racing engines are machined as well that I know for sure. The other reason why I thought otherwise is becuase with the machined JP engines when you recieve the finished product (sleeve), it is completely polished and finished. But with the Max Power there is discoluration where the cut was made. Thats the only reason I thought they were hand Modified. |
