I want to buy the new Crowd Pleazer 2.0 body for my XB8. Proline has versions for different types/brands of cars like Hobao, 777, MBX5. Which one fits the XB8 perfectly with the holes on the right place ? |

If you check the part number on the shell that came with the kit, it's the Crowd Pleazer (not 2.0) for the MBX5, not the 7.5. Yes, the front body hole is a bit off by a couple of millimeters. On my 2nd shell, I was able to get it right. |

well, to make it pretty much simple the bodies comming with the Xray's are the Crowd pleazers ![]() (2 days more for ours) and yes everyone is correct the holes don't line up...the car is close to the MBX5 but engine placement is slightly to the rear and the rear mounts are slightly off....ours are corrected for this. along with the body being much thicker, and able to alow for the airfilters to fit easier within the bodies....and our after market ones will sell for around 12.50 but then all the bodies we sell are 12.50 but good news is any MBX5 body will work.. ![]() the nose piece will need a little more cutting to fit ![]() ![]() ![]() it will be off!! and once you do make it correct it will be REAL LARGE! to make it easiest mark the "Aproximate" center(while body is still clear) of engine with a sharpe, make a 1/4 inch hole and place tape over it paint and from there you will have an idea where to make cuts if the body is already painted find the "Aproximate" center of the engine drill a small hole find the center and you can go "Out" from there... easire to go out and go slow finding the outside diamiter them making the wrong cut from the Begining.....hope this will help? ....for now the bodies Available from proline do not fit, they do but with minor modifications, but Proline we are sure will be able to address the problem and as with all there products of good Quaility will be made to fit like a glove as with most of there bodies... how soon? no one will know but those on the Inside? but at around 2700 per mold to make and even more if they "Redesign" the body altogether they will more than likely use the existing supply.. ![]() |

well, best answer to that would be what we were thinking was: "Experimenting" ![]() ![]() we have both styles ![]() we figured after the first 2400 to 2800 Inqueries we would try something for the General Public... ![]() and after the first 3400 there hasnt been any negitive feedback? so we do hope were heading in the right direction? ![]() |
