New Chassis

Just wanted to let everyone know that the new chassis are out and released. Every chassis that RCAmerica ships out now has the mod done to it. I just got 2 of them, and I spoke to RCAmerica and they confirmed that any chassis shipped out nowadays has the mod done to it

I just wanted to clarify the situation with the new parts. The soft arms and motor mounts are being prepared by XRAY, but have not yet been shipped to RC America. As you were told in the phone conversation, it was only possible they would arrive late next week, but unlikely. Since they have not left XRAY yet, it will probably be atleast the week after next before the parts are available. We will update our website once the new parts have arrived and are shipping. We did have a couple chassis available that were shipped, and we hope to have more in stock soon. The extra hole is a running change, so there is no new part number. All future chassis shipments will have the extra hole. This isn't meant to be an attack on you Giorgi50, I just didn't want people who were not part of your phone conversation, to hear only the best case scenario and be expecting parts before they should.

I just bought a XB8 chassis but its the old one, havent even used it yet... can i return it to RC America for the updated one since they are just sending them back anyway for the update?

hey that is a good question. I also have a NEW spare chassis.

how about xray offering an update service where we mail in old chassis and for a small ammount of money we get it machined with the new hole and a motor mount?? HA HA ?:-)My birthday end of the month BTW.

I think I'm going to wait till xray gets all these options all sorted out and buy a new one and use my current one as a back up/practice car.

any chance of measuring in mm how far the new hole is away from the 2 mounting holes on the same side as i will machine it out rather than buy 2 new ones
