Take it easy. It must be something your doing wrong, becuase I raced the buggy al last weekend with out breaking a thing.

If you broke a turnbuckle you must have hit something.

As far as the Spurs. If you would take the time out to read the forum you will see that there has been an updated versoin with stronger material. I am still on the old one and haven;t broken a thing. You must have to tight of a gear mesh.

As far as problems. If you have kept yourself updated, there has been a fix for any of the problems that has occured. Such as , the pistons, the flywheel, the spurs. All the new batches have these fix's done to them already. Xray has done a great job at keeping up the demand to make this buggy the best buggy out.

The buggy is truly luxury. You tell me what other kit includes the accesories that the XB8 does, and is fully adjustable without having to buy option peices. The XB8 has it all without having to buy anything.

For instance the 777 is adjustable, but comes with one plate for the rear toe, and the antisquat, when three or two plates are needed to make it thorugout the whole range.

I'm sorry that your having problems. But 99% of us are extremely happy with the quality of the kit, and believe the XB8 is truly luxurious.

and i contacted xray and they said it wasnt a manufacture default and i could send it in for tests? what the heck? i think the pic says enough. they wont back it up cause im using the RMV mount and its better than the stock???????

I'm so puzzled with this spur gear problem. I have ran my car numerous times, in all conditions and don't seem to have a problem.

Not that I'm saying there isn't a problem with the spurs, But its just crazy that mine hasn't failed. There must have been a bad batch.

Hey Z-man was that one of the newer spurs with the "T" on it??

I hope mine doesn't fail. I feel bad for those people that got screwed with the bad spurs. It is true, Xray should replace those faulty spurs.

Z-man, is that the first spur you have broke?? Because up until now I remember you stating that you never had the problem. Isn't that true? That Sucks

honestly that spur has prob close to 20gals on it and its not the "T" spur. its the one that came w/ the car and it got its use but, like you said the black wasnt even wore off. it prob was fractured when i was using the stock motor mount? since i put the RMV mount on it hasent put any marks in the chassis, and it did w/ the stock mount. thats why i mentioned it to them. im honest and really dont care if they back it up cause i got my use out of it for sure but the new ones cost wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much IMO.! so i had a spare that i bought. it even caused a fire but it went out when they restarted it. my pit guy was like zman its on fire? i said start it i got a race to win...lol the sparks from the spur lit the gas that was spilled when they refilled it. any way i got a MBX5 diff for a spare and its a direct fit. so this will be the last expensive spur i buy! for what they cost they should at leasty have gold plating on it for the bling bling....YO!

Yeah, I put the RMV mount on a new chassis and it proves that the mount works. Not one mark from the clutch bell hitting the chassis. It does its job, and I'm happy. The RMV mount has held up great and I see no need for a change, even with the new Xray mount being released.

z-man-does the x5 spur fit on an xray diff cup?
