Post subject: | Metal Parts Coating Problem |
We got a heavy rain shower during the A final this week so the car ended up covered in mud. When i got home i cleaned the car straight away (Water then WD40 etc) and was dismayed to find that the nice brown coating on the metal parts was mostly gone and the parts are rusty. This was the second meeting for the car and it now looks very second hand. Perhaps xray should revise this coating as it is clearly not up to the demands of 1/8th off road racing. Did anyone else have this problem and has anyone found any kind of coating that can be re applied to the universals etc ? |
