I can't believe no one has posted this yet but Xray team driver, Chris Crews won Round 2 of the RC Pro Sereies East on Sunday. Some of the best 1/8th scale drivers in the south east were in this race. See results below. Top ten in 1/8 Chris Crews 75 laps 45:16 - Xray Brian Burnett 74 laps 45.34 - Jammin Robin Nelson 73 laps 45:03 - Kyosho Lance Norick 73 laps 45:17 - Jammin Daniel Acyoth 72 laps 45:36 - Mugen Ralph Walters 71 laps 45:05 - ??? Alan Burton 71 laps 45:11 - Mugen Mark Johnson 67 laps 45:13 - Jammin Oliver Aspinwall 62 laps 45:00 - Mugen Scott Stahll 19 laps 23:29 - Mugen Not domination as far as the number of XB8s in the A, but I guess first is the only place that matters. I was in the C main, won the C main, bumped to the B and finished 3rd just short of another bump to the A. |

Thanks showtime!! I really thought I had a shot at qualifying for the B so I wasn't to happy with being in the C. But I made one change before the B that made a big difference and locked the car in for me. I went from 0 degrees of in-board toe to 1 degree and the car was locked. I had a small push in two of the turns and this change helped a lot. I also ran the RMV one (really two) piece engine mount this weekend that I got from Ashfordhobby.com. Worked really well and had no issues with it. I haven't had a chance to inspect the chassis yet to see if it reduced the clutch bell hitting the chassis. |

wow. This 5-5-5 setup must be something magical. Everyone seems to talk about it and I must say that even though I loved my buggy before (5-5-1), something happened that just locked my rear end down with that change. |
