XRAY - Model racing cars

Maybe I could help you out with that one for David as these instructions were qouted from his keyboard. When you reieve the new bearings blow them out with a air compressor on both sides.( I usually do it at 135 psi, and I do it on a piece of paper and you can see all the grease it blows out.) Do both sides equally, then wipe them of with a rag to clean off excess grease.

Remove Electronics tray
Remove Engine w/exhaust (leaving engine mounts)
Remove Rear-End assy.
Remove Front-End assy.
Remove Center diff (leaving the lower mount)

All parts except Engine and Eltronics Tray:
Clean under warm water with a stiff bristled nylon or polypropoleyne brush (NOT steel or brass or aluminum, etc.). Towel/rag or air compressor dry. Lightly coat uncoated steel with WD40 and wipe off excess (be sure not to miss the pivot pins in the uni's etc.)

Engine:
Remove Clutch assy.
Remove Air filter assy.
Remove Exhaust

Plug the carb and exhaust port with your thumb and middle finger. Spray down until clean with engine cleaner or contact cleaner. You may need to scrap off dried on or baked on dirt and re-spray. MAKE SURE YOUR CARB AND EXHAUST PORT ARE COVERED!!!

Hand clean (w/contact cleaner only!!) and inspect clutch components for wear

Electronics Tray:
Hand clean with dry towel/rag or lighly moistened with WD40
