Just got the xb808e and need to buy motor and pinion gears. Im set on the Tekin 1900 kv or 2050kv based on all the online discussion, set up sheets and I have tekin esc already. Sticking w stock spur (42t)for now, but im curious if anyone knows good range of pinions to get for various tracks. Any thoughts on which motor to get would be appreciated. Definitely dont want to overheat. Starting with indoor clay first season. Thanx!

I drive a xb808e with a tekin 2050kv and a ace rc 150A esc. I drive the stock 17t pinion. I've no problems with it and the motor isn't even warm. I think you should try the stock pinion and if it could better an other pinion. I think I gonna drive a 18t pinion. I don't drive much with it and it is could outside so I don't know if I go higher. You have to try it by yourself I think

Hello, I use also TEKIN 1900 or 2050kv. I use the stock pinion mostly. I think if you drive indoor, you could try a 16T one for more punch and less heat.
