Post subject: | 808e and oversteering |
Hi, I'm driving my 808e since some months now. I use almost the stock setup with some very minor changes (a bit less ride height, 400/500 shock oils, that's about it). I'm driving on a grass track with grass mats, quite narrow, a bit bumpy at some places and overall a high traction track. My problem: I have a bit too much oversteering. In fast corners almost everytime I have to fight with the rear end of the car, even when breaking the rear end is unstable. I checked the setup sheets and found out that most of the drivers use different diff oil. Currently, I use 20.000/10.000/10.000 (stock). Does it make sense to change the middle and rear diff oil to 7K/3K? Or some other changes which make the read more stable? Any hints are welcome! Thanks Greetings Sven |

maybe the problem is your tyres. I'm using kamikaza. I'm driving on a gras track too. http://rc-mvw.nl/index.php/off-road/de-off-road-baan |

Hi, I'm using Tourex X300 medium or soft, depending on the temperature. They should be fine, almost everybody is using them on the track. I'm the only Xray-Elo Driver there, that's my problem Greetings Sven |
