RRCi/Xray Challenge

Just want to wish everyone who has entered the RRCi/Xray Challenge good luck for Sunday at Slough. This is my first ever race of any kind with my XB8 and im really looking forward to it. So here's to a great day with all you fellow racers.

apparently the tracks been regraded for us and i think has been changed everso slightly just after the first small tabletop!
i know some of the ruts & craters have been filled in & the main stright has been smoothed out!
apparently even though theres at least one more corner added the lap times are the same as before due to you being able to go faster over the smoother stuff :wink:

but then it was starting to look like the surface of the moon :roll:

,its not my favourite track in the nationals but saying that im quite looking forward to racing there with the new car

,it will also be my first outing with the xb8 at slough
I really do HOPE they have done what you said showtime,you've got me all excited now :mrgreen:

both of you and all others competing in the event,i wil be there from saturday afternoon onwards for any queries or questions regarding setup info etc

P.S/ look for the 2 eez-ups with a few xray banners on them and ask for Ryan :wink:

the information i was given about the track work came from Three5 driver Rachel Merry who was there helping out last week and i trust her so it should be accurate :wink:

the bumpy straight wasn't a problem for my XB8 over the last couple of meetings anyway as i was able to go full chat everytime & only dug in & crashed 3 times all day, but compare that to the Kyoshos & TTR's that were struggling on the straight its not too bad :wink:

looking forward to a good one, i just hope the weathers kind to us :roll:

if its grim up here its normally half decent down there so fingers crossed
