Hi there,

I just got this original Xray part 980212 (808 diff pins) with the newer champions print on it:

http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/produc ... 20%2810%29

But those pins I got are dark brown, not rounded at their ends and the bag sports "MADE IN CHINA".
NO WAY! Not for me!

I mean I'm talking about pins, one of the cheapest parts on a car but nevertheless one of the most important regarding durability and drivetrain longevity. A weak pin could cause an expensive collateral damage.

I am sure everyone understands that all the hardware such as screws, shims, e-clips, pins and bearings are all manufactured in China. These nobody manufactures anywhere else so there is not even much alternative for you. All the composite, steel, graphite and alu parts on the XRAY cars are of course made in-house in Europe.

Thanks for that statement, Mario. I'm not looking for another brand at all. There's just no reason for me as I'm happy with Xray. I just was curious as in a column here was written that Xray is the last ALL-IN-HOUSE manufacturer in the RC business so I wasn't sure. Screws and clips, ok, but I thought pins and bearings (bearings only in your case) would be made in-house, too. Ok then.
