Post subject: | Should I be worry? |
When I read and read and read forums about xb9, all the time I read that people are making a lot mod or using another brand parts in its xb9 shocks. springs, piston, something like that I recently switch from mugen to xb9, I am really happy with the car, but only have run it once. of course I need to work with my suspension set up, I used the stock set up. Now Should I be Worry? I dont want to spent time and money making mod,off course I can drill original piston etc, but I would like run my Xb9 pure xray machine, I just have purchased all springs (808) available, I did not test all yet and I am waiting for the new ones My Question in this Official Forum is SHOULD I BE WORRY? Any advice from official Drivers? how the Xb9 should feel on the pit table? Thanks in advance |

Many people will make modifications to use parts (Springs, pistons, oils, etc) that they are more familiar with... This doesn't always mean that there is a problem with the kit items...just that people are going with what they know... I haven't seen the discussion you are referencing so I cannot say for certain. |

Arushmen, you shouldn't be worry! I'm using the 6 holes 1,2mm pistons from the kit and they work great! I use them in any condition and they are exctremely efficient! You can start with 500 front and 450 rear and go higher if the temperature is over 20 degrees celcius or with high grip. You can follow my last set-up sheets on the right section of the forum. Concerning the springs, I use the soon to be released 3 stripes springs that we got from the Neo race back in April. I use the same ones front and rear and they are great in every condition too! No need to worry about modifying or changing this part of the setup all the time! Just changing oil depending on temperature and grip level! The XB9 shocks are the best quality and durability I have ever use! Enjoy your ride! Reno |
