Hi,
Just wondering if these parts are the same size?

I want to know the length of the shaft with "10" written on it in the picture ('11 808) below. It should be roughly 10-13mm but I want to know exactly.


Is this length the same on the old XB8/XT8 pinion?

It is for a conversion on an older '09 808. I had a cool idea to use 8x19x6 bearings so I can use the standard old diff housings and not have to machine a spacer. Just some simple 8mm ID shims. :)

If someone can advise which driveshafts I need also, for the '08-09 808? I think it is MP9, but is it TKI2? Or standard MP9

The only thing I know is that if you use XB8 pinions with XB9 driveshafts you will have to dremel the tip of the bevel a little bit in order to avoid it from rubbing the inside of the cup joint.

I just want to know if the XT8 and 808 '11 pinion dimensions are the same - they look like the same part in pictures.
People were using the XT8 pinion to 'up'grade constantly failing pre-11 808's. It is harder to find the XT8 pinion now, but easy to find the '11 808 ones.

Thanks to 'Alain 808' on here who kindly provided the measurements for the XT8 one, so all I need to know is if the '11 one matches. I presume the thickness is still 8mm but am unsure of the others. See picture:

Last year I had only one spare part number for both buggy and truggy, if it could help. So for me yes, they are the same! I had only 2011.
