Take a tool - mostly used to make holes in leather (belts..) Make 3-5 3mm holes in the centerline of the tyre. So when the tires spin the mud flies away. Don't make all holes in a row... leave their gaps equal. |

Or, you can drill a hole or two in the rim before you glue the tires to it... |

No no... in on-road you make the holes in the rim. In offroad you should do the holes into tires so the debris flies out when the wheel spins. If your rims have already holes you should block them with tape/glue/something before you glue tires. (If the hole is in the rim - the crap wont fly out) |

That tool is called a leather punch, and its available from any horse supply store. They use it for saddles. It saves a lot of time when you are gluing up tires. Here's a link: Search the site for leather punch. |
