I have a steering issue, at least I think I do. I don't think my steering radius is as good as it should be, and the reason is the steering blocks hit the caster blocks when I steer in either direction. It does turn, but not as sharp as I'd like, and it is because part of the steering block (the arm that connects to the turn-buckle) hits the caster block and prevents further movement. I've not seen anything online that relates to this issue so maybe I'm just expecting too much, but it does seem to be limited. Any suggestions or similar experiences? I may have something set up wrong, but I can't see where I do, and I've checked and rechecked. Thanks for your help, Randall |

I've found a couple of pictures where Jason dremeled out the same area where I think I'm having issues with the setup's restriction on steering movement.

Hi Randall, Those images you posted are from the XB8/XT8 style suspension, not the 808 style system. I don't think our team has been removing material from our 808 like they do on the truck. It is possible that you could increase steering throw by removing some plastic, but I don't believe it has been an issue for most people when using the 808, nitro or electric. Is this just a concern during the build or something you are trying to change based on on-track performance? Maybe there are other adjustments that we can suggest to help create more steering if that is the issue? -- Bryan |

Thanks for the response Bryan. I suspect I need to make some sort of adjustment on my build. I'm going to take some pics of my current set up and post them later today. Maybe something will stick out to you all that have more experience with 808s. Thanks again, Randall |
