I just bought a RB S5 for $200 and have heard nothing but good things about it. What do you all think? |

That's one of the best engines in the RB line, it's pretty much an S7II with a 5 port piston and sleeve. That engine is extremely pipe sensitive, I really liked the O.S. 2050 or any of the 86 pipes with the Waller adapter. Good luck. |

Has any one tried any of the Max power motors? I am going to get one for my buggy but i cant decide if it would be wiser to go ahead and buy the 8 port or to just buy the 5 port. from what i have seen of my friends buggys, they are putting out some Crazy hoarse power. Looks like a little too much power almost. |

i use a s5. and ill buy more! pre heat is key! i do that every time and mine got stuck at the top till about 1.25 gallons. mine does NOT run hot, temp at 219 after a 15 min a main. the main thing to remember is the lowspeed controls temp on the motor. alot of people say they like to be a little fat down low and load up, but i dont see to have that prob. i use carbon shoes with mugen 1.0 and the tips of the shoes trimmed about 2mm |
