Just curious as to how you all set your clutches up w/ regards to your shoe placement? Do you just set it up a certain way and leave it? Do you position them to how a particular track is set? Right now I have a Collari LCB21 motor and it is ballistic on any straight but in the turns I lose ground. Currently my shoes trail and I use.9mm springs. I need more snap in the turns. I run 5/7/3 in the diffs and this is a med. length track w/ a couple doubles, 1 quad, and table top, 2 short straights and one long one. Any suggestions? Thanks for the input. |

I had never heard of running the shoes that waY either until I read it in the back of the book. I since switched to 1.0 springs and leading shoes but the car acted really weird. It would lose traction really easy coming out of turns and many times would spin out kind of. I would always have to baby it. I went back to trailing and everything is fine now. I'm considering the werks clutch, I know it has carbon shoes. Has anyone tried it out yet? Pros/cons? ~B |

werks clutch--- pros--- perfect every time get one cons- you have to remove the bell to adj it- but they have a new nut that you can adj through a hole in the clutch bell!!! |
