Hi all, just a quick question for anyone who has fitted a proline hd rear wing on the 808,before I go drilling holes do the wing mounts need to be modified to take the new wing?as I'm sure anyone reading this knows the wing mounts on the 808 have an upturn on the rear of the post that sits into a tapered slot on the original X-ray wing, to match up with any of the guide holes on the proline wing I can't see the wing bein tightened down enough coz the wing won't sit flat on the mounting post coz of said upturn!! If anyone has fitted one please advise , thanks in advance |

Rather unhelpfully, I'd suggest not fitting a HD wing - from past experience sticking a spare Hong Nor HD wing on the 808 when I didn't have a new standard one available it made the car pitch up in the air way too much. Took mine straight off as soon as I could get hold of a stock wing |

The Pro-Line HD wing is absolutely fine if that is what you have. I switch between it and the Xray wing all the time. My suggestion would be to take a piece of lexan and cut a square that oulines the mount area. Then drill the two holes in it and use it as a template for spotting up the holes on the wing. |
