He guys, I put together a couple of set-ups for the 2011. One is a basic set-up to get you going right out of the kit and the other is one I'm currently running now, which does not take much extra to do. Basic Set-up. xform/index.php?act=view&ID=4&setup=xb808_2011 My current set-up (which is awesome!): xform/index.php?act=view&ID=5&setup=xb808_2011 Note: On the suspension, which is currently the best I've run yet!!! I drilled a 1/16 hole in the top of the shock cap and used a trimmed down bladder foam (not to put extra pressure against the bladder and shock cap, but just to give the bladder some extra support). I ran the molded pistons 1.4x6 in the front and 1.3x6 in the rear. The car landed so soft and stuck to the track, never getting upset and I could over jump stuff, landing on flat ground with out the car getting upset. Also I'm running the front springs on the rear shocks. Give them a try and let me know what you think. ![]() |

I can see you run the "old" XB8 gearing. What is the advantage of this? With the overall gearing staying the same? |
