Nothing shown in your post but generally most stick packs in nimh will fit which is normally a range from 1200 to 1700 & is what i use. Life & lipo stick packs fit but get very tight. |

Although it says reciever pack its not common practice to see one of that high capacity & with a tamiya connector . THe one shown to me looks more like one used in the micro cars. Unless you can see it first or try it would be cautious & stick with the normal type. |

Stay away from life batteries in your 808. The heat from the engine being so close to the battery box destroys them in about 3 races, especially if its a main over 30 min. Check out the nanophosphate a123 packs. They can handle the heat and are 6.6 volts. No need for a regulator and the servos will last longer. |

For anyone running KO electronics, I run the Reedy lipo block pack. The KO receiver is small enough to fit where the battery should go and my lipo sits perfectly where thr receiver is made to fit. Because KO can run un regulated there is plent of room and you don't have to worry about where you're going to stick the regulator. Now a lot of receivers are small or are getting smaller so you may want to check into this. |

I use life 6.6v for over 2 yrs with no issues and have no trouble running 60 mins + on a 1400 pack like these (which are cheap ones) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Intellect-LiFe-ba ... 2a0d2b77db and for a charger try one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/iMAX-B6-Li-Polyme ... 53e57a0174. If you decide to come race i go to navan regularly call over and you can get a look yourself |
