I have brushless XB8EC (back up to my other brushless 808) I like the durability of the XB8(Diffs at the most) and the handling of the 808 so I've decide to combine both of them into one Buggy. I bought a very cheap 808 nitro roller and transferred all the Arms Towers and steering element over to the EC Chassis. I kept the EC center drive lines and DIffs. I like the results, plan to test is on this weekend. Removing the XB8 EC parts: Removing the 808 parts: Conversion in progress: Back section is still old EC front with 808 Final results, all 808 parts into the XB8 Chassis: With the nitro body of the 808 nitro roller: |

Almost direct bolt. I had to drill the chassis for the steering plates. |
