XRAY - Model racing cars

Can anyone tell me the stock XB8 diff fluids? Or whats better than the stock set-up. I bought a like new xb8 and its super loose in the rear end. I have no idea whats in the diffs now. Car was only run 2 times before I bought it

Stock & base setup fluid for F,M,R is 5,7,2 . Fine tune from here depending on track conditions but the majority run 552 for a smoother feel.

So the lighter in the back will give me better traction in the rear?

Diff oils are a science & give you an abilitity to tune the car to suit certain conditions, you can use heavier oils to give better forward traction but its condition & setup related.
Stick with 552 & run the car then come back to the team, its a good start point & we will then help you through what you want out of the car & guide you in the right direction for what you need.

I still run with teh XB8TQ, I have just taken out my active front diff as teh rear end was too loose.
I have 5, 5, 5 oils and will be running this weekend, I also have a spare diff loaded with 3000 oil and another with 7000 oil, so if need be I will be swapping these over on the day.

Yeah the 3000 was still too loose for me in the back. I'm going to try 5-5-5
