I went through a brand new throttle servo in my XT8 this past race weekend and found the culprit and I just want to share a tip to help prevent this from happening to others. Apparently when screwing down the throttle servo, the bottom of the throttle servo hits the mud guard and leaves the whole servo tray in a bent position. I cut away with a dremel a section of the mudguard right under the servo and now the whole tray sits nice and straight. I even noticed better steering responsedue to this fix. Simply take off your right side mudguard, cut away the material under the servo and then re-install as per manual. Your servo tray will now sit better. This will also depend on the measurements of the servo as well but being that they are all pretty much the same dimensions I figured this would help some people.
Im not sure if this issue has been addressed, but just though a good tip is worth sharing.
