Wondering what would be a good clutchbell freeplay/gap for the 808? I know it's not as critical as onroad, nevertheless.

I like to have it around 0.7mm. This might seem a lot, but it works and haven't had a clutch failure for 2 years! I replace the clutchbell 5x10x4 bearings quite often (1-2L) and use the old ones as onroad touring car wheel bearings - nice and free spinning :wink:

One sign of too little play is distorted or broken/missing adjustment shims! Another and more noticable is clutchbell bearing failure :mrgreen: So if you see missing or broken shims then you've been probably running too tight.
