Hi Marc,
I don't see why you couldn't install it in the rear.
Check this thread and Bren's posts for more info on the 41T and its physics.

I knw what you are saying . Our driving style might be different but i think your right that the 41 t gear robs some of the steering off power which makes you adjust somewhat. Its not really a problem for me cause it outweights thr benefit on power so i really love the option. I will try to use it on the rear who knows it might be even better.

Seems lind of strange to me to want the rear weels to turn faster than the front wheels. Seems like it would make the buggy very unstable under acceleration.

I actually find that it has very little to no effect on the off power turn in with having the overdrive gear in the front on the xray. If anything it seems like it actually helps a tiny bit. It seems that off power the rear wheels being geared lower create a slight drag on the rear wheels that transfers more weight to the front and actually helps the turn in.

just mount the 41T gear
no other pinion gear or extra shimming needed

5/5/5 is magical. Its my starting diff setup on all tracks for 1.5 years now :!:

Usually there's no need to change it, sometimes for acceleration stability or to adjust steering behavior, but not too often.
