was thinking bout getting a RB inline exaust/fuel cooler and was wondering if they were any good? i will be running it on a RB WS9. i also have a fuel filter. was gonna run them at the same time, if the exaust cooler is worth it, does anyone have any pics or ideas on how to mount them both on the 808? |

Trying to mount the cooler in a free air flow area can prove difficult as you also have to mount it where its protected. People have had failures through split pressure lines because of the extra joints so care is needed. As per my picture its protected & secure. To date no failures which has jinxed it now. You can also mount below the fuel filter area if you use one as the RB version is larger than the fastrax version on my car. Economy is increased a little around 20-30 seconds which does not sound allot, but is the difference in making 10 minute stops. Since running one for me has meant 10 minute stop are regular & not a worry any more when track conditions allow. |
