They look good, but wonder how they hold up the beating. Pure carbon fiber without Kevlar or similar fiber added isn't elastic enough to be used like this imho. Lexan guards last easily a whole season. Let us know if you manage to brake one of these... maybe I'm wrong! |

They should be fine Lauri, I've used similar ones for two years now and even had them mass-produced by a CNC company. Free tip: Take them off again and put a huge sticker on them (a clear sticker if you want to have the carbon look). They really get sandblasted from the front wheels and if you replace the sticker once in a while they will keep their looks. You can also reseal them with CA glue once in a while, but they're not as pretty anymore. |

Hi all I made mine out of old Byron fuel bottle. I have used the curve of the bottle so they lean back slightly. Didnt cost a penny, look really good and serve a purpose keeping muck out of the driveshafts. I am considering making some wheel scrapers out of the same material. al a Kyosho |
