Post subject: | Setup for the TQ |
Boxhead, Try using the composite front and rear chassis braces. One of the downsides in my opinion to the TQ was the aluminum front and rear chassis braces. This made the car less driveable. The chassis flex is crucial. The XB8R I had was a great car to drive. The TQ was more responsive, my driving skills had improved by then. Later I realized the car was not as good as my XB8R. Give this a try. Note: The XB808 has composite braces and the chassis is narrower, more chassis flex front o back and side to side. The XT8 required a rear aluminum brace due to excessive flex. The XB8 does not have this problem. Also try the +2 wheel hubs, I think this will also make a huge difference in stability for you. Rob Knasel Renewed Xray Fan |
