XRAY - Model racing cars

I ordered the wrong chassis droop gauge for my off road setup, this one:

But i have a race on 8 febr. (nitromaniaX) and can't get this one before that date :

this is the correct one ^


But my question is , are these 2 have the same high ?
So that I can recalculated the numers , so that 10 is the same as 0 on the second one.
Does anyone know that ?

The offroad one is 30mm high (same as the support blocks) so you get the relative droop value based on that (i.e. 0 on the droop gauge is 30mm, -10 would be 20mm droop IF you use the 30mm support blocks. otherwise it's just relative to whatever you are using as support blocks.

I suspect the onroad one will be much shorter height, but assuming you have a stable enough support of known height under the car (and will probably need to be for a buggy, not a truggy) you may be able to use it.

To be honest, if you can send it back and get the right one i wouldn't open the packet - either borrow one on the day, or use a ruler to get it as close as possible. The main thing to have is equal droop on each side.

I didn't know that that they have the same high as the support blocks.
It's also logical now when you said it ...

I already unpacked the gauge, so send it back is no option Adrian.

ive been looking now....
with the 107711 you have to use (from hudy site) the 107701 , thats the 20 mm chassis block.
So if the 0 on the 107711 is the same as -10 on the 107717 (these are using with a 30 mm block) then it is indeed the same high of 30 mm , and they have the same high.

So I can use it for now , only the 10 on my block is actually 0 when I use the 30 mm chassis block.
