Just mounting tyres, have some GRP Cubics, but are too big for the Xray rims, yet Bowtie MTR's fit fine?

It will be perfect fit, but GregM is alluding to using the TQ suspension mounts that will give you a different geometry and more tuning options.

I've never owned a truggy before, so went off Rocco's advice and went 10,20,7 with the diffs. I bought some 4 hole pistons, so for shocks have gone with 4x1.3 pistons all round and 700Wt front and 600Wt rear. Its sitting here already to run, just need to borrow that camera again to take another pic.

Brano has listed the TQ upgrade kits, from what I can tell, anyone wanting the alloy suspension holders should buy the TQ front set and buy the rear individually, as the rear TQ set includes a shock tower which increases the price. The XT8 parts list does not list the original XB8 items, so worth checking and from the posts, others were not aware this set did not include the current mounts. As a suggestion, can Xray make a set up with the lastest mounts specifically for the XT8 as I'm sure alot of people will want to upgrade with minimal cost.

One annoying thing is putting the wheel nuts on, man I hate deep dish wheels, the GRP rims are so much easier. I'm be getting the 2mm offset axles to get them sitting closer to the correct position, it will still be out abit thou.

quality is superb, just not sure on e clips and hinge pin braces..

Heres a tip when building. The body has markings for the holes for mounting, mine are out. I reamed on the exact marks just assuming they were right, but they are slightly out. Check before you make the holes, as on mine I need the front holes a few mm further forward and the back a few mm further back.

I ordered 352301, the TQ front suspension set for my XT8, I'll look at the rear later.
